About Joshua Dietz

With an extensive background in counseling and human development, Joshua Dietz holds responsibilities as a sales representative with Tax Defender. Responsible for establishing contact with prospective clients, Joshua Dietz works to explain the firm’s core tax relief program and helps determine eligibility.

An experienced educator, Mr. Dietz spent several years as an adjunct lecturer with a variety of institutions, including those within the City University of New York system. With the Swedish Institute from 2015 to 2019, he instructed courses such as Health and Developmental Psychology, and provided in-service programs that met the needs of faculty members.

Also active as a hypnotherapist with Tranceformation in Brooklyn, Mr. Dietz assisted clients in working through issues such as anxiety, mood disorders, attention deficit disorder, and relationships. Trained in hypnosis, he drew on a graduate education in psychoanalysis and clinical psychology. Joshua Dietz also has experience as a research intern and program leader with the Institute for Parenting, where he conducted participant interviews while co-leading a number of parenting programs on topics such as “Raising a Thinking Child.”

As a writer, Mr. Dietz has published dozens of blogs on his website on the subjects of health, relationships, personal development, mental illness, art, music, and culture. He is also the author of “American Extremist: The Psychology Of Political Extremism”, published by Imperium Press. Scheduled for release in 2021, the book closely examines the relationship between psychological dysfunction and political orientation.
